12-speed automated manual familyPACCAR’s TX-12 family includes TX-12 and TX-12 Pro, each with 12 forward and two reverse gears. The manufacturer’s comparison lists different clutch specifications, engine compatibility and application limits. Pro is therefore a configuration distinction, not a promise of a higher rating in every category.
TX-18
18-speed automated manual familyPACCAR’s TX-18 range includes standard and Pro configurations. The published comparison lists 18 forward gears, with three reverse ratios on TX-18 and six on TX-18 Pro. PACCAR associates the Pro version with off-highway and heavier vocational requirements.
