M2 106 Plus
Medium-duty work platformThe M2 106 Plus is Freightliner’s medium-duty work-truck platform. The manufacturer describes Class 6–8 configurations and a QuickFit electrical system intended to support upfitting. A class range means the exact build must be checked; it does not describe one standard payload.
M2 112 Plus
Larger M2 work platformThe M2 112 Plus is another Freightliner M2 configuration, listed in its on-highway range. Freightliner’s catalogue shows a broader upper power range than the M2 106 Plus. That can make it relevant to heavier work, but the actual engine and chassis order determine the comparison.
108SD Plus
Severe-duty work truckFreightliner lists the 108SD Plus as a severe-duty model. It is intended for a different specification discussion from the M2 distribution range. The 108SD and 114SD names identify related severe-duty platforms, but their ratings and available configurations should not be treated as interchangeable.
114SD Plus
Heavier severe-duty platformThe 114SD Plus is a Freightliner severe-duty truck. Its catalogue lists a higher upper gross vehicle weight rating than the 108SD Plus. This makes the pair worth comparing for different vocational needs, but the specific frame, axles and body remain decisive.
