What is the Detroit DD13?
The DD13 is Detroit’s smaller heavy-duty DD-family engine, positioned for regional and vocational work. Detroit describes a 12.8 L Gen 6 version with production planned for January 2027. An existing DD13 may be an earlier generation with different specifications.
